The Outdoor Writers Association of America is pleased to announce the winners of the 2017 Excellence in Craft Contests.
Members of the Outdoor Writers Association of America elected Ann Simpson of Virginia, Matt Soberg of Minnesota, and Danielle Taylor of Pennsylvania, to serve on the organization’s board of directors. The new board members start their three-year terms on June 26, 2017, at OWAA’s annual conference in Duluth, Minnesota.
After a national search, the Outdoor Writers Association of America announces the hiring of Brandon D. Shuler as the organization’s next executive director. Shuler takes the helm of OWAA on May 15.
Becky Jones Mahlum replaced Tom Keer on the OWAA board of directors after Keer resigned. She will serve the remainder of his term, which is set to expire in 2018.
