OWAA is excited to head to Little Rock, Arkansas, for its 92nd annual conference. The Little Rock Convention and Visitors Bureau, Arkansas Game and Fish Commission, and Arkansas Department of Parks and Tourism are excited to host OWAA on June 22-24. It’s a natural choice for OWAA to choose The Natural State.
The Outdoor Writers Association of America awarded nine Bodie McDowell scholarships to undergraduate and graduate students studying outdoor communications, totaling $24,500 for the 2018-19 school year.

Members of the Outdoor Writers Association of America elected Ruth Hoyt of Texas, Ken Keffer of Iowa, and Shawn Perich of Minnesota, to serve on the organization’s board of directors. John Kruse of Washington also joined the board, replacing Matt Soberg who resigned from the Board on May 18.
