OWAA initiates search for new executive director
The Outdoor Writers Association of America, the nation’s oldest and largest association of professional outdoors-focused communicators, is seeking a new executive director. The application deadline for the position is Jan. 6, 2017. Interested candidates should email a resume and cover letter to resumes@owaa-oldsite.birchbarkmedia.com.
Sadler leaving; interim director named
Tom Sadler came to the Outdoor Writers Association of America four years ago as our organization was facing a challenging time. He is leaving as executive director at the end of the month having helped OWAA navigate a rough patch in our history.
