MISSOULA, Mont. – The Outdoor Writers Association of America (OWAA) announces the launch of a new website (http://www.owaa-oldsite.birchbarkmedia.com/2011conference) about the 2011 annual conference location in Salt Lake City, Utah.
You will be able to view photos, watch video clips and read blog entries from the staff during their visit. The website will be launched Sept. 20, 2010 following the OWAA staff’s arrival to preview the location Sept. 20-23.
This will be a multimedia website showcasing the 2011 conference and will include the chance to follow the OWAA staff while they tour Snowbird Ski and Summer Resort and Salt Lake City area.
“I’m excited to share a first-hand experience of the 2011 conference site with members and interested outdoors communicators from across the country,” said Ashley Schroeder, OWAA publications editor. “I’ll be taking video and photos and writing blog entries as I follow our conference planner, executive director and conference committee while we explore all the opportunities available to visitors of the Salt Lake City area.”

The 1,200-member Outdoor Writers Association of America is the oldest and largest association of professional outdoor communicators in the United States.
