Trips, opportunities abound in Alaska at OWAA conference

MISSOULA, Mont. – Pre- and post-conference trip opportunities for the 2012 OWAA annual conference in Fairbanks, Alaska, are now available on the OWAA conference website. With more than 100 offers available, attendees can enjoy activities ranging from museum and sled dog kennel tours, to sightseeing, wildlife and photography tours, to guided fishing trips, discounted and complimentary lodging, and much more! There are plenty of options to help you build your own Alaskan adventure.

And to help you get to Alaska, don’t miss exclusive OWAA discounts with Alaska Airlines and the Alaska Marine Highway System with ferry transportation out of Bellingham, Wa.

To help you sort through all the possibilities, Fairbanks CVB put together a color catalog that will be mailed in February with OWAA’s conference information packet. In addition, the same listings on the OWAA conference website can be sorted by various categories, such as free opportunities, pre-conference versus post-conference options, and location. There is also a search bar which allows you to find posts containing a keyword like “fishing.”

If you have questions about any of the available accommodations, attractions or activities, contact Amy Geiger of the Fairbanks CVB at ageiger@explorefairbanks.com, 907-459-3775.
