MISSOULA, Mont. – Outdoor Writers Association of America will be moving their headquarters office on Wednesday, May 11. The move will take the office just a few blocks away from its current location to rental space in a historical Missoula building. The OWAA office will be located at 615 Oak St., Ste. 201, Missoula, MT 59801.
This change in office space will allow OWAA headquarters staff to focus on the more important issues concerning OWAA and its members as opposed to condo board and management duties.
Despite the move, OWAA’s phone number and fax number will remain the same. While there may be a small delay in response to e-mail communication on May 11-12, OWAA aims to carry out the move with as little disruption to member services as possible.
Proceeds from the sale of the building will return to the Restricted Endowment Fund and a newly established Real Estate Fund, managed by the OWAA Trustees and Board of Directors, respectively, with the intent to eventually reinvest the funds into a new free-standing, office space. OWAA has enjoyed the past 11 years at their current space, but looks forward to moving on to a new location in Missoula.
For any questions about the move, please contact Robin Giner at rginer@owaa-oldsite.birchbarkmedia.com or 406-728-7434. OWAA will also have updates on the move available through Facebook and Twitter and change-of-address postcards are being mailed to all OWAA members and supporting groups.
