  6. Why did you choose to become an outdoor communicator?
Started writing stories…for a small fishing publication  at age 14 in S.C. My Aunt was a famous children’s author (Amelia Bedelia series). She liked my stores of people/outdoors stories.

  20. What do you like best about OWAA?
Encouragements that are shared, and lessons that are learned by older and wiser OWAA writers; who were kind enough to spend a little bit of time with me throughout their own journey in the great outdoors.

Thanks, Walter, for not only your answers, but also for being valued part of “The Voice of the Outdoors.”
