One of the highlights of this year’s conference was the keynote presentation by National Park Service Director Jon Jarvis.
What made his presentation so special was how he linked our National Parks to American values. Jarvis quotes Ken Burns; “the National Parks are a Declaration of Independence applied to the land.”
