“Side Winder,” the 2010 People’s Choice Award winning photo by Mark Harlow of Walker, Minn., will take your breath away. You’ll feel the chill of a snowy boat ride in “Boy, this is fun” by Bill Lindner of Baxter, Minn. Looking into the eyes of the two young “Fox Kits,” by Art Weber of Whitehouse, Ohio, will make your heart melt.
The exhibit also includes photos of people enjoying outdoor recreational activities. Five categories of photos are represented: scenic, flora, people, action and fauna. This year’s winners include some of America’s best-known outdoor photographers such as Eric Hansen of Corvallis, Ore.; Lisa Densmore of Hanover, N.H.; Tom Ulrich of West Glacier, Mont.; and Mike Furtman of Duluth, Minn., just to name a few.
Open dates are still available for exhibits. To schedule an exhibit, contact Robin Giner at 406-728-7434 or rginer@owaa-oldsite.birchbarkmedia.com. The cost to the exhibitor is $100, excluding shipping to the next location (usually less than $35).
